Alpha Protocol 1.1 startet nicht

Ich habe Alpha Protocol installiert und dann Patch 1.1 von der Sega-Seite geladen und APGame.exe in C:\Program Files\SEGA\Alpha Protocol\Binaries ersetzt.

Wenn ich über das Windows7-Startmenü starte, kommt nur die Windows-Meldung "Alpha Protocol funktioniert nicht mehr", die Online-Suche nach einer Lösung ist erfolglos, das Programm kann offenbar auch nicht geschlossen werden. Wenn ich in C:\Program Files\SEGA\Alpha Protocol den APLauncher.exe starte, kommt das Spielen-Deinstallieren-Webseite-Readme-Beenden-Menü mit Musik und Spielen führt zum gleichen Problem. Der Task-Manager sagt nur "keine Rückmeldung", ermöglicht aber immerhin den Task zu schliessen.

Was kann ich tun? Ist das Geld zum Fenster raus geschmissen? :rolleyes

Kann es sein, dass es ein Windows-Firewall-Problem ist?

Ich habe jetzt mal die ungepatchte Version gestartet und es kam die Meldung, dass das Internet nicht verfügbar sei. Das kann eigentlich nur an der Firewall liegen. Wenn ich mir die Programmaufstellung anguckte (Systemsteuerung\System und Sicherheit\Windows-Firewall\Zugelassene Programme) dann ist bei Alpha Protocol ein Haken bei Heim/Arbeit (Privat). Wenn ich mir jedoch die Windows-Firewall mit erweiterten Regeln angucke, sehe ich bei den Eingehenden Regeln zweimal Alpha Protocol (identische Programmpfad) bei privat aktiviert aber bei den Ausgehenden Regeln gar nicht. Ist das richtig so?

Ich hatte inzwischen Kontakt mit dem Support. Die haben mir folgenden Link geschickt, http://www.4players.de/4players.php/...oad/56093.html und der Patch hat dann auf Anhieb funktioniert.

Warum der auf deren Support-Seiten nicht zu finden war, weiss ich nicht. Aber wie ich sehe gerade, dass da sowieso inzwischen etwas geändert wurde, vielleicht ist da jetzt der gleiche Patch hinterlegt, keine Ahnung.

Vielleicht hilft das ja jemanden.
